“O” Goods: Whole Foods Eco-Fashion Show

Connie visits Whole Foods Market in West Orange to attend its first annual Eco-Fashion night This Whole Foods Market is one of the three stores in the Northeast region with an eco-store that sells clothing, jewelry, and home goods that are Eco Friendly. At the Eco Fashion show Connie spoke to four representatives of organic product manufacturers.

The Living Planet: Clothes made from organic and biodegradable materials including organic cottons, bamboo and soybeans.

World of Good: Jewelry, bowls, and accessories made using all recycled, natural or found materials. A fair trade company, their goal is to protect the natural environment, preserver the culture and give back to the communities it works with. Recycling or found materials.

Pooka: Pure and Simple: Body products made with all natural ingredients! Check them out for body butters and much, much more.

Simple: Shoes made using recycled materials such as milk cartons, coconut shells, cork and even old tires. And comfy too!

Whole Foods: And don’t forget to visit your local Whole Foods where you will find all those great organic and fair trade food items you love as well as that cool organic wardrobe!
